At Brookside Cottages & Resorts, we want your vacation experience to be outstanding. The following rules are meant to enhance, not hinder, your stay. Please notify us immediately if something is not working properly.

Please do not arrive before the above check in time as we need the time to properly prepare the house for your stay.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that life happens and things come up that may impact your vacation plans. We are happy to work with you to reschedule your stay whenever possible. If you cancel more than 30 days prior to check-in, you will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 14 and 30 days of check-in will receive a 50% refund. No refunds are given if the cancellation occurs less than 14 days before check-in.

What’s included:

The following consumable supplies are to help get you started on your vacation. We provide the starter pack, additional supplies are the responsibility of the guest.

  • 1 starter roll of toilet paper plus a 2 spare rolls in each bathroom

  • 1 roll of paper towel in the kitchen

  • 1 garbage bag in each waste can (plus a few spare kitchen garbage bags under the sink)

  • 1 hand soap per sink

  • 1 liquid dish soap in kitchen

  • 1 new dish sponge in kitchen

  • Vacation homes with dishwashers and washers/dryers will also include dishwashing detergent pods as well as laundry pods and dryer sheets.

Items to Bring:

  • Additional Toilet Paper, Paper Towel, Trash Bags

  • Kleenex

  • Charcoal for charcoal grills (if applicable)

  • Wood for campfires (can be purchased locally at area roadside stands, gas stations, grocery stores, etc.)

  • Beach Towels

  • Bed sheets & bath towels (Cottages only, as described)

  • Blow dryer

  • Any specialty kitchen supplies you may need. We supply basic cooking utensils, coffee pots and toaster.

  • Ice

  • Personal toiletry items including shampoo/conditioner, body/face soap, etc.

  • Condiments, Tin Foil, Saran Wrap, Ziplocs, etc.

  • Board games, puzzles, cards

  • Portable crib or playpen if needed

  • Infant life jacket if needed
